Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Youmont ("Youmont", "we", "us") is a creator business intelligence dashboard for YouTube creators. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Youmont, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

2. Information we collect

Google account & YouTube data. When you connect your channel, Google asks you to approve specific permissions ("scopes"). Youmont requests:

• youtube.readonly — your channel's basic details (name, thumbnail, subscriber/view counts).
• yt-analytics.readonly — view counts, watch time, and retention data for your videos.
• yt-analytics-monetary.readonly — estimated AdSense revenue and RPM/CPM figures tied to your channel.

We only ever request read-only access. Youmont cannot upload, edit, or delete anything on your YouTube channel, and cannot spend or move money on your behalf.

Information you enter directly. This includes manually logged revenue (brand deals, memberships, affiliate income), tax-related entries you choose to record, brand deal/CRM details (contact names, deal terms, status), content ideas, and a reserve-fund amount if you use the Financial Safety Net feature.

AI features. If you use the AI coach, your messages and the assistant's replies are stored so your conversation history persists across sessions. If you use the thumbnail generator, the prompts and reference images you provide are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate an image, and the result is stored in your account.

Account & usage data. Your email address (from your Google account), and basic usage/session information needed to keep you signed in and to operate the product reliably.

3. How we use your information

• To display your dashboard: monetization pace, video performance, revenue trends, forecasts, and compliance/risk signals.
• To automatically sync a daily snapshot of your channel stats and AdSense revenue.
• To send you optional emails — weekly performance summaries, brand-deal reminders, and policy-check alerts — which you can decline.
• To generate AI coaching responses and AI thumbnail concepts when you request them.
• To generate your public Media Kit page, if you choose to enable it (channel stats only — never revenue).

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your YouTube data for advertising purposes.

4. Who we share information with

• Google — to read the YouTube data described above, under Google's own API Services User Data Policy.
• OpenAI — to power the AI coach and AI thumbnail generator. Only the specific message/prompt you send is transmitted, not your full account data.
• Neon (database hosting) and Vercel (application hosting) — infrastructure providers who store/process data on our behalf, under their own security and confidentiality obligations.
• Resend — to deliver transactional emails (weekly summaries, reminders) if you haven't opted out.

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. Your choices & rights

• Revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page — this immediately stops Youmont from reading any further YouTube data.
• Delete your data by contacting us (below); we'll remove your account and associated records.
• Opt out of emails via the unsubscribe link included in every email we send.
• Disable your Media Kit at any time from Settings, which immediately invalidates the public link.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, so your historical trends and forecasts stay accurate. If you delete your account, we remove your stored data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal or security purposes.

7. Children's privacy

Youmont is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Youmont evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
