How can we help?

Account and sign-in

Youmont signs you in through your Google account — there is no separate Youmont password to reset. If sign-in fails, it is usually because the Google account you chose is not the one your YouTube channel belongs to. Try again with the correct account, and email us if it still will not go through.

Connecting your YouTube channel

Connecting asks Google for read-only access to your channel's stats. Youmont cannot upload, edit, or delete anything on your channel, and cannot move money. If the Google account you pick has no YouTube channel attached, the connection will stop and tell you so.

Data and privacy requests

You can export your revenue data as a formatted Excel file, or permanently delete your channel and all its stored history, from Settings once you are signed in. If you cannot sign in and need a data export or deletion handled another way, email us and say which channel it concerns.

The Privacy Policy sets out what we collect and why.

Accessibility problems

If something in Youmont is unusable with a keyboard, a screen reader, high zoom, or any other assistive technology, we want to hear about it — reports from people actually using the product are more useful to us than any checklist.

Our accessibility statement explains what we are working toward and where things currently stand.

Product questions

Questions about what a number means, how a score is calculated, or what Youmont does and does not do. Several of the most common ones are answered below.

Frequently asked questions

My dashboard says "Gathering data" — is something broken?

No — this just means there isn't enough snapshot history yet to estimate your pace toward monetization. Youmont needs at least two snapshots spanning roughly two weeks before it can calculate a reliable weekly velocity. Check back after your channel has been connected for a couple of weeks.

Why does my subscriber count show 0?

This reflects the real, current statistics YouTube's API returns for your channel. If your channel genuinely has no subscribers yet, that's expected — it isn't a bug in Youmont.

How often does my data update?

A daily snapshot job runs automatically and records your subscriber count, watch hours, Shorts views, and AdSense revenue once per day. It also syncs your AdSense income into Revenue entries and refreshes your per-video stats on the Videos page. Eligibility progress, pace estimates, growth trend, and diversification score are recalculated from that history each time you load your dashboard.

What does the "Synced · estimated" badge mean on a revenue entry?

AdSense income is synced automatically once a month closes — you don't need to log it by hand. The badge is a reminder that the number comes from YouTube's Analytics API, which is an estimate, not a confirmed bank deposit. Actual AdSense payouts can differ slightly due to invalid traffic adjustments, content claims, or payment holds, so we never mark a synced entry as "received," only "expected."

How do I add income that isn't from AdSense?

Go to the Revenue page and use the form to log brand deals, memberships, or affiliate income manually. AdSense syncs automatically, so you generally don't need to add it yourself — though you can log an AdSense entry manually too if you want to track something outside the automatic sync.

What's the Financial Safety Net on my dashboard?

It highlights how concentrated your income is in a single source, and — if you've entered a reserve fund amount in Settings — estimates how many days that reserve would cover at your average monthly income. This is an informational estimate based only on what you've logged in Youmont. It isn't connected to any bank account and isn't financial advice.

What's the Diversification Score?

A 0-100 score showing how spread out your income is across sources. 100 means no single source dominates; a lower score means one source (often AdSense or a single brand deal) makes up most of your income, which is riskier if that source ever drops off. The trend arrow shows whether your concentration is improving or worsening over recent months.

Can I share my channel stats without sharing my revenue?

Yes — go to Settings and enable your Media Kit link. It's a public, read-only page showing your subscriber count, watch hours, and Shorts views — no login required for whoever you share it with, and no revenue or individual entry data is ever included. You can regenerate the link at any time to invalidate the old one.

Where can I see how individual videos are performing?

The Videos page shows every video with its views, likes, and watch hours, synced daily and sorted by views. Your top 3 videos also appear as "Your virals" right on the dashboard.

What if I connect the wrong channel, or want to disconnect one?

Go to Settings → Danger zone → "Disconnect this channel." This permanently removes the channel and all its snapshots, revenue entries, and eligibility history. This can't be undone, so make sure you've exported anything you want to keep first.

Can I manage more than one YouTube channel?

Right now, each login is tied to a single connected channel. Support for managing multiple channels or team/agency access is on the roadmap but not available yet.

Is my financial data private?

Your revenue entries and channel data are tied to your connected YouTube account and aren't shared with other users of Youmont. Your Media Kit link, if enabled, never includes revenue or entry-level data — only audience stats. You can export your revenue as a formatted Excel file, or permanently delete your data at any time from Settings.
